All appointments must be booked in advance and are subject to availability.

A non-refundable booking fee of $120 is required to secure your appointment. for weddings. This amount will be deducted from the total cost of the service.  

No booking is confirmed until the deposit is received and a confirmation is provided.

A minimum of 4 per party is required for wedding bookings unless otherwise arranged.  A can makeup a maximum of 7 people before needing another artist,  (dependant of ceremony/first look time).

Final payment is due on or before the day of the service.

The remaining balance for a wedding must be paid in full at least a week prior to your date.

Accepted payment methods include cash and bank transfer.

Prices are subject to change without notice but are confirmed at the time of booking.

If the final balance is not paid by the due date, Kristy Leigh reserves the right to cancel services and retain the deposit.

Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours in advance for event makeup.

Cancellations made with less than 48 hours notice, a cancellation fee of half of the total amount of your appointment will apply.

If you cancel your appointment less than one week out from your appointment date a $50 cancellation fee will apply.

Rescheduling is allowed with at least 48 hours notice, subject to availability.

For wedding bookings, please note this deposit is non-refundable and therefore there will be no cancellation fee. However, if you cancel a wedding booking within seven days, but with more than 24 hours notice you are required to pay 50% of the total cost. If you cancel a wedding booking with less than 24 hours notice, you are required to pay 100% of the remaining total cost.

If Kristy Leigh cancels due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., illness, emergencies), all efforts will be made to find a replacement artist. If no replacement is found, the deposit will be refunded.
 

Bridal makeup trials are recommended and are scheduled separately from the wedding day. The cost of the trial is $180.00 and payable before or on the day of the trial. I recommend getting in touch at least 3-4 months out from when you’d like to book this to save missing out on a preferred date. Most Fridays & Saturdays will be unavailable from Oct- April due to peak wedding season.

Trials do not guarantee the wedding day booking; a deposit must still be paid to secure the wedding date.

Mobile services are available within New Zealand &/or overseas.

A travel fee will apply for locations outside my area.  A fee will be quoted once your location for getting ready is locked in. It is based on standard IRD mileage rates which is $1.17 per kilometre and $30 goes directly to the artist for their time traveling. 

Parking costs, tolls, or additional travel expenses must be covered by the client.

Please arrive on time with a clean, makeup-free face unless otherwise discussed.

Notify the artist of any allergies, skin sensitivities, or health conditions that may affect the application of makeup products.

Late arrivals may result in reduced service time or cancellation without refund.

All products and tools are sanitised before and after each client.

The artist has the right to refuse service if a client presents with a contagious condition or is uncooperative or disrespectful.

Kristy Leigh will take every precaution to ensure products used are suitable for the Client, but will not be liable for any allergic reactions or complications arising from failure to inform her about pre-existing conditions.

A signed agreement and deposit are required for all bridal and group bookings.

Any changes to the bridal party numbers must be made at least 4 weeks before the event date.

Trial appointments are highly recommended for brides and must be booked separately.

With client permission, photos may be taken before or after services for use on social media, website, and portfolio.

If you do not wish to be photographed, please advise the artist in advance.

In the event of illness, accident, or circumstances beyond the artist’s control, (e.g., natural disasters, extreme weather, pandemics) Kristy Leigh reserves the right to cancel the booking. All efforts will be made to reschedule or find a replacement artist. In this case, any paid amounts (including deposit) will be fully refunded.

Kristy Leigh is not responsible for any damage to makeup after application is completed.

Kristy Leigh will not be held liable for any injuries, illnesses, losses, or damages associated with the services provided.
